Come join us and help the 1 in 10 Kentuckians living with kidney disease! 

26 Million people have chronic kidney disease and another 20 million are at risk. The NKF's Kidney Walk presents an occasion for dialysis patients, organ transplant recipients, donor families, living donors, the medical communities, and the general public to celebrate LIFE and support the Foundation's mission.

The NKF's Kidney Walks are designed to help people understand the need for early detection of kidney disease. In addition to raising funds for research and help for patients and their families, the Kidney Walk is a great way to bring the community together!

On September 20th, you'll take part in many exciting and fun activities!  Louisville School of Rock band What's Up and Creatures of Leisure will perform!

This year's walk will celebrate Team Kentucky and their participation at the 2008 US Transplant Games.  Team Kentucky basketball athlete Junie Sivils will emcee the event!

Congratulations to Terry's Hope for winning the last week of the Kidney Walk Team Challenge!   The competition is still not over!  Five trophies will be awarded September 20th to the best overall teams and individuals.  One of the following trophies (or two) can be yours!
